This journey, on which we managed to observe an astonishing 390 species, was nevertheless unusual. As far as the everyday bird species were concerned, it remained surprisingly quiet, almost empty. In return, the special sightings were all the more numerous and impressive. All in all I was very happy with our observations and with the way we were able to experience them.
