Franz Brügger has now been on safari with me several times. His pictures impress not only through what he photographs, but above all through the way he photographs it. His pictures are alive! They have a dynamic and expressiveness all of their own.

What a privilege it is for me to have Franz along on safari. Welcome back, Franz!

On our last trip, too, I once again learned a lot from you. And looking at your pictures now, I am reminded once more that there are photographers from whom I can still learn a great deal. I probably should have looked over your shoulder much more closely once again.

Thank you, Franz, for making your pictures available to us and for giving other people the chance to experience these special moments through your eyes.
