It is well worth considering a short stopover in Cape Town before your next journey to Namibia. The region offers spectacular landscapes, an exceptionally rich birdlife, and a remarkable diversity of natural habitats within a relatively small area.
We are happy to guide you in and around Cape Town, as logistics, routes, and walks all benefit from careful planning to make the most of your time and interests.
In addition, many international connections now route via Cape Town with onward flights to Walvis Bay. This creates an excellent opportunity to fly from Europe to Cape Town, spend several days or even a full week enjoying the natural scenery, outstanding landscapes, and extraordinary bird diversity, and then continue your safari from there. From Cape Town, you may either fly to Windhoek and begin your safari there or, as many guests now prefer, fly directly to Walvis Bay. As a much smaller airport, Walvis Bay allows for significantly faster procedures and a notably relaxed start to your safari experience.
